Bespoke

Most of what we build
never appears on this site

An awkward alcove, a ceiling height nobody makes wardrobes for, a table long enough for the family you actually have. Bring the problem — the drawing, the photograph, the tape measure reading — and we will build to it.

The process

Eight weeks, week by week

  1. 01Week 0

    The conversation

Usually on WhatsApp, often with a photo of the room and a reference image. We ask what the room is used for, who uses it, and what you disliked about whatever stood there before.

  2. 02Week 1

    Survey and drawing

We measure the room and the delivery route ourselves anywhere in Osun State. You receive a scaled drawing and a materials list — not a mood board.

  3. 03Week 2

    Materials and deposit

You see the actual timber, fabric swatches and leather hides. A 60% deposit locks the price against material cost movement and releases the piece into the build queue.

  4. 04Weeks 3–5

    Frame and joinery

Timber is selected, cut and joined. You get photographs at frame stage. If a board turns out to have a defect, you hear about it that week — not at delivery.

  5. 05Weeks 6–7

    Finish and upholstery

Hardwax oil or lacquer, cured properly between coats, then upholstery. This is where the time actually goes, and it is the step that cannot be hurried.

  6. 06Week 8

    Delivery and install

Delivered, assembled in the room, packaging taken away. We do not leave until you have sat on it.

Questions

Before you commission

What does the survey cost?

Nothing, anywhere in Osun State. Outside it we walk you through the measurements on a video call, or fold a survey visit into the quote for larger contracts.

Do I pay before you draw anything?

No. The conversation, the survey and the first drawing cost you nothing. A 60% deposit is only taken once you have approved a drawing, seen the actual materials and agreed a fixed price.

Can you match furniture I already own?

Usually. Send photographs and, if you can, a close-up of the timber in daylight. We can match tone and grain closely; an exact match to an aged piece is rarely possible and we will say so rather than promise it.

What if it does not fit when it arrives?

That is what the survey prevents — we measure your doorways, stairwell turn and lift before we cut anything. If a piece genuinely cannot be delivered in one section, we design it in sections that can.

Can you work to an interior designer's drawings?

Yes, and we prefer it. Send the drawings and specification and we will quote against them, flagging anything that will not survive the climate or the intended use.
